R&B,中文翻译成节奏布鲁斯(也称为节奏蓝调)。可以简单的理解为具有节奏感的蓝调音乐.清晰的旋律和分明的节奏是大多数人喜爱它的原因.R&B起源于黑人的流行音乐,现在全世界范围内都发展的十分兴盛.比如我们的周董,就是亚洲R&B的代表人物.
R&B最大的特点就是旋律之中带有节奏,一般来说如果你听到一首歌符合这两个特征,且从整体来看节奏有快有慢,那么就可以把它划分到R&B之中,与HIP-HOP及RAP相区分开.下面就让我们来欣赏2首R&B.

听完美国的蓝调音乐 我再来听听来自欧洲的蓝调音乐 介绍欧洲的蓝调音乐就不得不提及来自法国的RMB小子J-FIVE 这个所谓的欧洲阿姆的小子的唱功实力绝不亚与阿姆，而且多了点摩登的感觉 modern times就夸张的诠释了卓别林的作品 仿佛我们又回到了那个时代 而这首FIND A WAY便是其中最为传唱的歌曲之一.

  HIP-HOP ( 嘻哈音乐 )
       Hip Hop源於R&B，与其说是一种音乐,不如说是一种文化.Hip Hop 文化是70年代美国纽约的贫民区、哈林区，也就是美国一些穷困黑人和南美洲人所住的布鲁克林区，因为物质生活匮乏，他们很穷，每天无所事事，所以他们大都在街上打混，有的人打篮球、有的人就会在街上放著音乐随著音乐尽情的Solo ，有的人藉由喷画、涂鸦、即兴演唱发泄情绪，玩著玩著就玩出了Hip Hop。 它是个深入生活文化的精神,结合了黑人的语言、音乐、舞蹈、life Style......等 ,才足以构成Hip Hop的全貌。
   Hip-Hop的音乐风格带有许多的R&B元素.与R&B相比较,HIP-HOP显得比较热闹,肢体语言也比较丰富,而且通常会有一些电子乐器加入其中.
     但是早期的HIP-HOP充斥着脏话和暴力.记得大一时第一次看Eminem的记录片,看他在地下歌坛与那些黑人用唱的对骂,简直看傻了.如果你想骂美国人,那么就去背几首早期的hip-hop歌曲吧,保证实用.
也是因为这个原因,我比较喜欢亚洲的HIP-HOP,下面是我十分喜欢的两首HIP-HOP

『嘻哈高校(Da Skool)』以不矫饰的真实个性、略带粗野直接的语言，记录年轻的当下，另一层意义也许是他们提供了一个很不同于台北的音乐/生活观点，你可以从他们的细微动作，看出嘻哈对于他们已经是比脱裤子大便还要接近生活的生活。

RAP （黑人俚语，“谈话”），产自纽约贫困黑人聚居区。它以在机械的节奏声的背景下，快速地诉说一连串押韵的诗句为特征。这种形式来源之一是过去电台节目主持人在介绍唱片时所用的一种快速的、押韵的行话性的语言。莱普的歌词幽默、风趣，常带讽刺性，80年代尤其受到黑人欢迎。
Rap音乐的产生晚于HIP-HOP，但是今天的RAP音乐却是由Hip-Hop音乐所发展出来的一种音乐模式.Hip-Hop是在十六年前开始于美国，日后流传到全时间的一种音乐.在结合了美国的黑人音乐，语言，舞蹈，在、穿着打扮等风格于一体，变成了今日不断创新的RAP音乐风格.  
在音乐风格上，Rap音乐是一段固定的旋律，节奏，配上Keyboard,刮唱片和快速的令人耳不暇接的甚至无法听懂说辞.（想起周董了吧）。话题一般围绕在枪械，毒品，暴力和求生存，充分表现出美国黑人的心声及不满。所以一般也会带有许多发泄的脏话。如著名的坏小子艾米纳姆，美国说唱界黑人巨星DR.dre有一次看到他在地下歌厅的表演，向身边的人问道：“这个白皮肤蓝眼睛，满嘴大粪还带着轻松自如的微笑的家伙是谁？”经过长时期的发展，当初难登大雅之堂的Rap音乐如今已被许多乐迷所接受，就连许多排行榜及奖项都有Rap音乐的份。而有话想说，又有才华的年轻人，也能在不同形式的Rap当中,找到自己的天空.

评价:由于热狗的歌一般比较"脏(与其说他的歌脏,不如说是反应社会现实,只不过表达方式比较偏激),因此他的专集总是被大陆"封杀",虽然我们在音响店买不到他的CD,但是我们仍然不得不承认他,一个真正MC歌手----姚中仁-----台湾饶舌第一人.
